Glenn Brown: Etchings and Sculpture Notecard Set

This notecard set was produced on the occasion of Glenn Brown's exhibition Etchings and Sculpture at Gagosian, Geneva, in 2011. It includes ten blank folded notecards featuring etchings by Brown and envelopes, presented in a jacket case.

Taking portraits by Urs Graf, Lucian Freud and Rembrandt as inspiration, Brown scans and digitally manipulates images, overlaying a number of them to produce a series of printing plates. The plates are printed in combination to create intricate spectral compositions comprising up to fifteen different source images and layered in black ink.
